Unethical Sales
I just read the article about the guy getting ripped off on the $18000 Mustang and was curious if this happens a lot with the Mustangs or if that is just the hazard with any classic car. I realize there are crooked people out there that take advantage of people, but I would like to think that most people you are dealing with are honest and love the car & hobby. How cautious do I need to be?

For a very reasonable fee you can get a certified inspector to look over the vehicle you intend to purchase. I think this is an excellent option for anyone looking to invest in collector cars.

Exactly. Especially if you are looking at any car over a few grand.
