Default intake and carb=cool?

Im thinking about ordering this
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-03-0155/?rtype=10

And then getting a couple of these

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3029/

Just to freshen up the car. Not sure though if it would make it a PIA to tune!

I was thinking about the stacks with a hole cut in the hood. I also have a 69 scoop that i may consider as well.

I thought it would look cool left exposed though.

I would have to agree that I dont think it will look on a 66. Looks bad *** on vintage Ferrari's but not a Mustang. That said...to each his own

Go for Dual Quads if you want em. My understanding is that they are notoriously tricky to tune, and keep in tune. I'd skip the velo-stack style covers though. They look tacky, and terrible. If you want velocity stacks, I'm sure you can find a manifold and carb combo that is meant for it. Like this one. Though that's a bit more expensive.

That is not true. Once a carb is set with the correct metering rods, there is no reason that would suddenly get "out of tune". Theres a few people in our club that have that and it works really well because it a progressive set up.

i always liked the three two barrels, you can run on the center then floor it for all three. i had two four barrels on a old dodge dart back in the day, really didnt have any problems with tuning.
