Default 1969 Mach 1 Factory Tach Dash Swap

Hi everyone,

Anybody have any experience upgrading their standard dash cluster to a factory unit with a tachometer?

I was able to purchase a factory unit complete, and was wondering if it will work with the same wiring harness and it will be just plug and play? I know some sensors will need to be changed under the hood for gauges to lights to work with this dash. Wondering if I will need a harness upgrade, or a wiring schematic.

Just wondering any hints or opinions, or if anyone has done this before. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks!

it's not plug and play. there are wiring differences in the underdash harness. i also think there are some differences in the underhood wiring.

the boss302 site has detailed explanation of what's required to modify the wiring.
