Default SPI primer shipment 3 days away and wanted to paint interior this weekend, what else?

What is a good replacement epoxy that I could find locally and I would be able to paint (Brush) on?

I just need any color and would prefer black.

I called a local shop and they have DP EPOXY PRIMER. Not cheap and a 2:1 mixture. Cost will be around 113 just for the 2qt primer.

If I am not patient enough to wait, how is DP?

Wait for your SPI to arrive. DP epoxy does not stack up against the SPI epoxy, especially for the price. And yes, I have used both.

SPI comes to around $160 for 2 gallons of sprayable material. That is quite a bit of material for the price.

BE PATIENT, lol! Quit asking so many questions and just wait for it!!!! Have a beer or two while you wait.

Done, I'm waiting......

I just ordered a 2 gallon kit. Why I wait to the last minute and second guess, I have no idea.

Looks like I now have time to seam seal the new pan seams under the car and fix the header leak as well as clean the engine compartment....Oh, rest too.
