sry for a late reply. Like i said, i fit fine in the car - i do get in awkwardly because of my height, haha
I did replace the steering wheel to 15in so that gave me some more room. The seat is all of the way back, i havent done anything to it, unless the owner before me did something to it. The seat is out now, i might look at it to see maybe if i could modify the track so it could back an inch

no need to worry about head room in a convertible, just bug splatter on your forehead depending on how straight up you sit in the seat.
Insurance is a joke in a classic. Get historic tags and classic car insurance.... can you say $300 easily a year... That's at least how much I was paying when I was 16 and that was back in 2000. I now pay $76 for a full year and $15k in coverage.

We just installed our one piece headliner in a 67 coupe and gained the customer 2 1/2 inches, then since we were replacing the floor we went with the 69-70 and gained him another 1 1/2 plus we moved the seat risers back another 2 inches.
