Default Door alignment- slight twist

I seem to remember a post a while back describing how to remove a couple welds and do a slight twist to get doors line up. Got mine pretty close but driver side sticks out at the bottom latch side and in on bottom hinge side. Been playing with it but can't get exactly right. Does this ring a bell or any suggestions?

If it is a aftermarket door, and you have used all the adjustments in the hinges, then bust the 2 spot welds at the top of the door where the vent glass goes in. Then twist the door to get the fit you want a re weld the tab.

I twisted mine without messing with the welds, but I have not installed my glass yet.

I'm assuming these are the tabs you are referring to? Also did you have any problems with glass after doing it?

Yes, those are the tabs. Just make sure you don't squeeze the outer door skin so tight that you can't get your vent frame in.

Thanks - I'll keep that in mind.
