My Insulation and sound deaden
First was SPI Epoxy with ceramic beads for heat
Second was B-Quiet for sound deadener ( Thickest version)
Third was Thermozite ( double sided foil version)
It's very quiet as I completely closed off the trunk. Much better to ride as I didn't do the Air conditioner upgrade

Nice job. Some guys here have used Reflectix from Lowes. I bought this just today. $14 for a 2 X 25 foot roll. You can get it up to three or four feet wide or down to one foot. You can find it discussed on other forums as well. It is actually little plastic air bubbles faced on both sides with aluminum foil. It is not self adhevise so if you want to stick it down you have to use a spray adhesive of some sort. From what I read it works equally well stuck down or not.

Before I started, reflectix was there. It's not cheap, B-quiet was 250 and Thermozite was 140. I find that it's worth the $$ to upgrade from reflectix.
Now, starting with the ceramic beads, I put it in the trunk on the sides and top of the sides. I wouldn't be able to put my hand on it in the hot sun, now it's greatly reduced, it does appear to work.
B-quiet - THe floor looked so nice that I didn't want to use it, and I didn't have the thermozite at the time I was putting it on. The only down side is that it's on and will never come off without HUGE issues. So, be sure if you want to use it.
Thermozite - I could have skipped the B-quiet I believe as long as you did a tight butt or overlap. Huge bonus for the B-quiet was the sail and qtr trim areas as there are huge holes to the trunk.
Also, things fit better with the thicker material.
I will have to Thermozite the roof when I do the headliner at glass replacement time. I also have not done the doors.
I also have to get some foam for inside the shifter boot as I can hear that area if no music is on and windows rolled up.
Ans I need to understand how to align the windows too as there are a couple litte gaps that leak air/noise.
