Default should i reuse this?-pedal support

so my brake pedal in my mustang was not returning on its on, and when i went to check it out, it was grinding on the column. so here is what i found last night when i tore it apart.
brake pedal side, do you think i should be reusing the stock pedal support?

brake pedal bushings

pivot shaft-dont think its supposed to have that groove in it.

This is the best that i could get the snap ring back in on the brake side, it does not seem fully seated in the groove, but its tight in there.

only part that i would like to replace that i dont have is the little plastic bushing on the clutch rod hole. besides that everything should be fresh. hope it make a difference in my pedal returning. Thanks

That's a large amount of slop in that hole and the new bushing's aren't going to last long. You can reuse the brace but IMHO, it needs to be repaired back to a normal hole.

You would have to weld that one to fix it. Its easy to do but if you dont have a welder or someone to do it might not be too easy to do. I would get the new rod they sell it with the roller bearings you must have gotten the kit without it. And yes this will help your pedal feel.

tack weld those big washers to the original support. then you don't have to repair the original hole (besides grinding it flush).
