Default Help! 68 mustang, 302 boss rocker arm bolts

hello everyone! im new to the forums which I shouldve joined a long time ago. A few months ago I blew a head gasket. My friend and I tore the engine apart and replaced the gaskets with no problem. While putting it back together and torquing the rocker arm bolts back in, one snapped. I thought it was no big deal ill just go get another one. Went to all the auto part shops in town and couldnt find what I was looking for. Ive searched the web and could only find rocker arm "Studs" which look completly different from my bolt. Can anyone help me point me in the right directing to where i can find it. Im still very new at auto mechanics and Im still learning. I have a picture of the bolt that i need and if you think you could help me I could send you an email. Thank you for any help!

A true Boss 302 head came with 7/16" studs. What year are the heads and are they a Boss head or that's what you were told. A Boss has 8 valve cover bolts and the exhaust bolt pattern is staggered. A Windsor has 6 valve cover bolts ans the exhaust bolts are straight across front to back.

they arent Boss heads..Boss heads are of the Cleveland engine series...the pictures above are from a Windsor style motor

the rocker setup looks like mid 70-80s style...probably just go to the junkyard and pull one out of a motor there for an easy fix
