What Is It About 67?
It seems like whenever I hear about classic Mustangs, people go gaga over the 67'.
Did Ford do something different in 67? Or do people just like that number?
I've always been curious as to whether or not there is actually a difference between the 67's and the 65/66's and 68's.

The 67's are popular primarily because of Gone in 60 Seconds. '67 fastbacks skyrocketed in value in the years after the movie came out.
There are major differences between the '66 and '67 model year. The '67 car is completely redesigned. It's longer, wider, will accept larger engines without modification, has a remodeled dash, etc. There were minor changes in '68, mostly having to do with safety features required by the feds for the '68 model year, like collapsible steering columns, padded steering wheels, and breakaway window crank *****.
Personally, I prefer my '67 over a '68, but it's all personal preference. My gf wants a '65-66 coupe or vert.

The main thing I like about the 67 over the 64-66 models is the tail lights. I never have liked the popped out tails on those. The curved one's of the 67-68 though are much better looking IMO. The 67 has always been the best looking classic IMO. Before Gone in 60 Seconds and all. Just is the best looking to me.
