Default Dual Inlet Thunderbolt Style Air Cleaner

I really dig the dual inlet air cleaner setups that are similar to the Fairlane Thunderbolt that actually get cool outside air. I have been looking at this one from Ram Air Box. Specter also makes one. I'm looking at my monte carlo bar and AC compressor and trying to figure out if I can make something like this work. Anyone do this?

I just realized that the Pertronix distributor may also be in the way since its taller than stock. I had to use a curved monte carlo bar to clear it.

I wonder who's done one and actually noticed much power difference over a plain
open element air cleaner. The stock ram-air systems don't offer much difference (other than looks).

I can attest that they work.

I bought a Spectre kit off of a kid, but it is the 180* style that will only work on GM (at least as far as I know). I think with the 120* one you could make it work, but probably have to ditch the MC bar.

I've decided to pass on this setup. I just can't see having the space for it. I'm not removing anything or changing my setup to accommodate the air cleaner and tubes.
