Default New 68 Mustang, looking for info..

I just bought a clean 1968 mustang hardtop with a 289... it's my first, period. New to the whole show... so here is the info i have about the car, just looking for some advice and some info on what i actually bought... and probably come up with a few questions as i type this... anyways... here is the list of what the previous owner did to the car...

1. 1975 Engine block bored 040 over, install Hypereutectic aluminum flat top pistons, seal power ings, crankshaft turned 10/10 all new Clevite bearings new freeze plugs. new cam, cam bearing, new high volume oil pump

2. 1966 289 heads i had 1.840" intake and 1.500" exh valves, installed bronze valve guides seals, new double valve springs, 3/8 screw in studs, harland sharp full roller rockers. Morose Valve covers and air cleaner

3. Mallory electronic distributor and coil

4. New water pump, new four row radiator, all new water hoses

5. Holley 600 CFM carb, Holley street dominator intake

6. Walker Tri-Ys headers, 2" aluminized exhaust, glass pack mufflers

7. new battery, starter, starter solenoid, alternator, all new battery cables, new fan belt, new battery box

8. Rebuild transmission with B&M shift kit

anyways, that's wha tthe guy gave me... so any info on that? also a guy i work with mentioned i had a "stroker" any info? thanks guys.. i'll try and figure out how to post pictures on my profile or something to show anyone who checks this out.. thanks again

Sounds like you're ready to drive. If the crankshaft was turned (original) and it probably has original rods you don't have a stroker. The 0.40" bore is pretty common and is only done to clean up the cylinders for a good seal with new rings/pistons not for power. This puts you ~306 - 308ci? A stroker motor would require a new crank/rods/pistons matched to increase the stroke length increasing the c.i. to 331 or 347ci most commonly.

Not sure why they installed a high volumn oil pump with a stock pan I'm guessing?
