Default 1965 mustang Needs Part # for Bellhousing???

I have a 1965 mustang with I6 and C4 transmission. Changing out the I6 for a 1983 v8 302 5.0 HO motor. Need a bellhousing that will match up to the 6 bolt holes for 302 and the tranny, anyone have any idea where I could find one and what exactly I need??? There are a lot on ebay, but it's so hard to order one and not know if the part number is the one you need or not! Thanks a bunch in advance. Jeff

You're going to need more than just a bell housing. Torque converter is one thing.

AIR, you would be better off with a 8cyl C4 as they have better innards (clutches, servos, steels and bands)

Hi,
For used parts, these guys might be a source :http://home.rica.net/brcm/brcm.htm
They are a bone yard of sorts. Good Luck!
