Default Tranny fitment question

Hi guys, quick question I have traded my 1971 351 C and the new owner was curious if a C 6 tranny would fit up to it?

yes as long as it is a small block c6....the cleveland is a small block with the same bolt pattern as a 289/302/351w

71-73 351C 4V engines were typically equipped with the C6, while 351C 2V engines had the FMX.

This 351C was originally attached to a FMX, but I guess for the 4V 71-73 351C had a different pattern to fit up to the C6 bell housing I'm assuming?
