Hi,
I'll add.....The PCV system does more than aid in preventing engine emissions, it also reduces parasitic oil seepage through reducing crank-case pressures. It has also shown, to increase parasitic HP through reducing these pressures. Just saying....
Good Luck with your project.

Yes. You are right. The simple machine is on it's way to the road. Any thoughts on the right rear end? Also, I'm going to totally rebuild the front suspension and steering with springs and upgrade to the 8 cylinder steering and suspension.

I want to put a new rear end in my 1966 mustang. I want at least a limited slip rear end or a posi. What type and year of fords can I buy a used rear end out of. I was told that the vans and SUVs have these type of rear ends but I am not sure which vehicles I can get a rear end out of. I prefer a lower geared rear end about a 3.5 or so. I currently have a 2.8. I want something that will give me a little more umph off of the line without spinning one tire.

Any ideas??

If you want a bolt in rear end 64-66 mustang and falcon will bolt in and fit right.A 67-70 mustang will fit but is a tiny bit wider. If you look hard yo can find a 8 inch cheap and rebuild it.
