buying 1967 mustang coupe is it a deal?
I am thinking about buying a 1967 coupe mustang with all the body work completly done minus paint. rebuilt tranny and a 309 that is no good. Long story short on the engine a man rebuilt it for this older man and just put it together wrong and he left town. old man upset and is getting rid of the car $1500.
Thats all i know right now seen pics but just off that is it a good deal. I have no idea if the seat are there and in the pics the glass was taken out to do the body work.

You can still find used 5.0 motors cheap enough to throw in, just put a carb and older distributor on it (Change that distributor drive gear tho).
If the chassis is not rusted out it sounds like a fair deal, but make sure the body guy did not screw it up like the motor guy did because repairing crap work is harder than doing it the fist time, thats why I am a full floor pan proponent.

with all the bodywork done,....whats that mean, do you know how to find bondo, if not have a friend who is familiar with detection give it a once over.
I've seen many pics of finished bodywork that was nothing more than rust holes covered with mesh and bondo.
