The Great Gauge/Panel Project with one problem (pics & video)
Doesn't one thing always lead to another.
A while back I broke down in the Lincoln tunnel and killed my flywheel and starter frantically trying to get the F out of there. So of course while I was getting it fixed I had them change the carb from a 575 Holley SA (for sale) to a 500 Edel since I a mild ride and put a higher stall converter in.
After riding with the new stall converter I started having heat issues and worried I was generating too much heat from the new converter so I had a trans cooler and decided I needed a trans temp guage to make sure I wasn't cooking my tranny and maybe get a more accurate reading on my coolant at the same time.
The plan:
-Rig a panel with a 3 way switch to send readings to one guage
-Replace the empty clock slot with a autometer 2 1/16 gauge
-Add a light between the inline fuse and my cooling fan so I know when my fan is running
-Run a fog light switch here as well
Here is how everything turned out

Only problem....turn signals now make my stereo flicker on and off in sync with the blinker so something got crossed. Thinking I may run a separate power line for the turn signals but open to suggestions.
