65 200ci cam gear bolt
hey guys, I'm new here, and relatively new to classic mustangs with just 1 major project under my belt, with the second about 3/4 of the way done. I did a complete suspension rehash on a 67 fastback (recently sold on ebay at around $30k) I'm on the middle of rebuilding the 200ci inline in a 65 coupe.
I have somehow misplaced the cam gear retainer bolt and washer (probably left it in the old cam). I have no idea where to find one, or even the specifications on it, other than it os a grease 8 bolt. Being a Ford parts guy, I contacted Ford directly, and they are coming up empty handed as well. Does anyone here have any idea where to find one, or the specs? This one bolt is holding up all progress on this poor unpopular engine that has been living on an engine stand in my shop for over a year. Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated!

Call Mustang Corral in Edwardsville IL. The guys have been working with mustangs for about 35 years. They can answer dang near any question. Even better, they have a mustang bone yard out behind there shop and will probably be able to provide you with a replacement.
