I made this panel from aluminum mostly for looks but today i drove 20 miles and my electric fans never even kicked on. The temp was 1/8 inch about from c. Today its 50 out but yesterday i drove about same mileage and temp was way up compared to today. The airflow gets directed to radiator way better instead of blowing up were my new panel is. This will be a great help in the summer here in louisiana and was a cheap and little time consuming project.

I can't work metal but I've toying with the idea of doing that as well. You can take it a step further and get something cool carved into the metal, like a snake or a Ford logo or something....

Good news that it worked out for you, I need to find a metal shop and get that done. It looks great!

You can get a plastic one from http://www.mpcustomproducts.com/prod...edressups.html or a metal one http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa...rill_masks.htm

But thanks for this post and link, I can't wait! I might be able to hook up my AC again because my fans will pull enough through the front through my AC condenser.
