Default 1965 GT manual disc to power disc??

I've done some searching and believe that this swap is not easily done.

Here's what I'm working on.

1965 GT Fastback 4 speed with manual disc now. The owner wants to upgrade to power brakes with dual cups since I'm replacing every component in the brake system. The car has sat it a barn for over 20 years and I'm getting it road worthy for him again.

What are my options to achieve power brakes on this car?

Also I can't find a OE replacement proportioning valve. Is the only option to rebuild it?

Thanks for any input.

Here's a link to the progress so far on the car.

I screwed up and ordered the wrong booster/MC combo. If it was an automatic car it would work.

New lines going on.

Master Power Brake has a OEM-style master with dual reservoir that will work with your manual trans.

You need to rebuild the OE proportioning valve. Not that bad to do, really.

The car already has disc brakes from the factory. Is there much benefit to adding power brakes? I read somewhere it's not worth the cost to install power brakes on one that has disc.

One upgrade that I told the owner that is a safety item is too go to a two cup MC instead of the single cup.

Thanks for any input.

I was going to edit my last post but can't.

I did find dual cup MC during some searching.

That dual MC is for drum/drum brakes. You'll need the one for disc/drum.

Really good Pictures.

There were Zero Power Disc Cars in 65 66.
No, a Dual bowl will not fit/work on the Old Drum Brake Booster.
The "New-Rebuilt" Proportioning valve many be hard to get.

If the P Valve is rebuildable, call Scott at Muscle Car Research. He has the material.

Thanks, I caught it before I ordered the disc/drum MC. I didn't come back here and update it.

Thanks for the help and comments. The MC is in route. I'll post more pics when I get it installed.
