dropping a 302 in a 71
been thinking about dropping a 302 in my 1971 coupe.
Current Config:
250 CI I6.
3 spd standard original tranny.
I know all 71's came with 5 lug spindles all around and an 8" rear.
What would i need under the hood to mate the 302 with the manual tranny.
If im correct the 3spd has the SBF bellhousing.
Is there any steering components i have to change or can i literally pull out the 250 and drop in the v8?
Any recommendations?

I know on our '65 I6 to V8 swap I had to get the complete V8 throttle pedal and under dash pedal linkage assembly as the linkage that came out into the engine bay was in a different position compared to a V8. I'm not sure if it would be the same on your '71 but it is worth looking into.
