I dont know if you got this problem fixed or not but I learned the hard way that you can have the car grounded but actually not good enough where lights will come on but when you go to crank it wont do a thing. I took sand paper and a wire brush and cleaned the area of the ground and my stuff started as if there was never any issues. It was a 2 days of non stop checking everything. My ground was tighten down to the engine and everything.
