So im finally getting around to changing my intake manifold gasket thats sprewing oil all over the place but ive run into a problem. Ive done plently of these before on small blocks so i thought its not a big deal, but this is the first big block ive owned.

the pushrods go right through the intake manifold so they need to come off, along with the rockers. i can take it all apart but the re assembly is what worries me. I dont know how to make the adjustments. Is this something id be able to do after a little research or should i just have someone do it? I got a guy that says he ll charge me 400$.

Get ya a good shop manual and follow it to the t that's what I've always done and I've never had a problem
