Default Grandma's 69' Convertible Restore

Hey boys/girls, I'm new here and just inherited my wifes Grandmothers 69 Mustang Convertible. She bought it new in 1969 (have the original bill) and grove it a bit in here midlife crisis. Since 1984 it's only had 32,000 Miles put on it and basically sat underground at here condo. I would like to get the ball rolling on restoring it, but only want to pick away bit by bit. Right now I am struggling to find a Dash Pad. I've looked on 'just dashes', dashes direct, and mustang country int. but nothing. The problem is this car is blue with light blue interior, hence the dash is blue. Does anybody know where I find a dash pad, and if not has anybody got a trick to painting them?

Congrats! You would need to dye the pad rather than painting it. I did my Palomino pad in my 65 and it turned out great. Easy to do, applies out of the rattle can just like paint. Cleaning and prep is important prior to dyeing. Some dealers have a neutral color pad for dyeing.

When we redid the interior of my 66, the new dash pad was beige and we re dyed it to match the turquoise interior. That was about 5 or 6 years ago and the dash still looks great. It's not hard to do and comes out good.
