Dash Pad Dying/Painting?
Hey guys I've searched on here and on the web extensively for a blue dash pad for my 69' CVT and they are not available period. So now my next option is to buy a pad and dye it or paint it. Most people are saying dying is the way to go. My question is what color pad do you recommend me start with, black or white? (seem to be my only options) and where do I find this dye? I need blue and haven't been able to find it or any info on it anywhere. Any advice on how to properly do it would be very much appreciated.
I've got all new interior upholstery, door panels, kick panels, and wind lace on the way. Just need to find a pad and arm rests and it's done.

Boody,
I recently changed my interior color from ginger (shutter) to black using the SEM color dye along with the SEM leather and plastic prep. I did not use the adhesion promoter since the prep worked so well. If you go this route you have to degrease the material as well even if its new. I used some simple green, but you could use comet cleaner or even acetone but thats up to you. Dying is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best way to go. As far as the color choice, I would order the white one that way you have a blank canvas to start with, but I think you could go either way with it.
