Ok..finally got it done...changed my RUG-AE2 Toploader over to a wide-ratio gearset. Put in a complete rebuild kit from David Kee, too. Replaced old chattering clutch/pressure plate with a McLeod combo, and while everything was apart, fixed a really bad heat soak problem with the old starter with a new Tuff Stuff high-torque mini-starter. Got it back on the road yesterday. Now, no clutch chatter...engine fires right up hot or cold, and pulls off the line much better without having to slip the clutch to get it going. All in all...very pleased with results.

Now..check my latest post about the Holley 600 carb problem that popped up the VERY NEXT day (today!)after getting all this done! It just never ends....!!
