my 84 mustang SVO had a dampner on the yoke like that(i think my 91 5.0 does too)...the rubber failed and it slipped it vibrated awful...i went home and removed the outer ring then it was smooth as silk again

I guess the main thing is that it has the correct dimensions.
What is the overall length and diameter of the tube supposed to be?
