Not a bad looking car, but I wouldn't pay anything over $4,500 for it. $8,500 you should be able to find something a little better especially with a paint job.

I just picked up a 68 cope with a/c p/s v8, all factory gt part (car is not a gt) a 20ft paint job and with new floors for $2,800. It even drove. Guy was asking $7k for it. Don't get me wrong but other than the floor pans, the car had the typical rust issues! Had a loose rocker that just needed tightening and an oil leake from the intake.

You would at least pay $3,500 to $5,000 for a paint job (prices in MD for a decent paint job) by then, you would still only have a $10 - 12k car.

Are these high prices typical in ft worth?

Am I just super cheap? All of these cars people are asking about lately are stupid expensive.

Look, here's a car I bought here in MI in October for $3000. This is not what a $3000 car looks like, I got an awesome deal on it. But I DO think this is what an $8500-$9500 car looks like. Paint shines. Engine is rebuilt. Interior is mint. The cars you're looking at are not worth the money they're asking. Thanks to Gone in 60 Seconds, everyone thinks their Mustang is worth a million bucks.

Be patient. Keep posting these things, but definitely don't just jump on one of these cars right away because you're excited. Better deals are definitely out there. Rarely will you make money on one of these things, but that doesn't mean you have to lose your *** on it.

Yup be patient. It took me about two years of shopping off and on before I bought mine.

im in fort Wayne yes. please do keep and eye out for me.

all the cars i have seen are freaking expensive compared to that pony waffles bought, holy crap. ive looked hard for these cars ive asked about. i dont get the market right now. maybe i need to go to the auburn kruse auction.

are most of you guys getting cars for that price. i just wasted 120.00 on driving with a trailer 3 hours for a car i didn't buy. i cant be doing this long.

I'd say that car is worth no more than $3500 on the high side, if it is a solid car that doesn't need much rust repair.

I was kinda hoping mine was worth a million. Now that you've dropped this bombshell on me I need to come up with a new retirement plan.

What's the Powerball up to?

Welcome to WalMart. Would you like a buggy?
