Default LIGHT ISSUES

HELP..
I HAVE A 1967 COUPE AND I AM HAVING LIGHTING ISSUES.
THIS IS WHAT DOES NOT WORK.
1 - NO BLINKERS
2 - NO BRAKE LIGHT ON DRIVERS SIDE.
3- RUNNING LIGHTS WORK, BUT WHEN I TURN HEADLIGHTS ON THE RUINNING LIGHTS CUT OFF.

I CHANGED FLASHER.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
THANKS

Hi, I'm pretty sure there is a ground issue, most likely on your driver tail lights.

check the connector for corrosion and, I'm not expert to '67 mustangs, maybe the ground is made where bolting the taillights on the car.

remove the lights too and clean all the contacts.

if taillight are ok, there should be a ground wire disconnected or misplaced somewhere.

Did you work or changed something recently?

The usual culprit is a bad turn signal switch for the brake light and blinker issues. If a light goes out when another one comes on is a bad ground on the light that is going out.

As i recall most mustangs (definitely true for my 66) before sometime in the70's do not keep the running lights on when the headlights are switched on. so this may be a non-problem.

1
check your turn signal flasher
There is a separate one for the emergency flashers, so check the correct one

2
clean the connector.
if it still does not work, check for +12v when the pedal is pressed, if no power, trace the wire back to the TS switch
I think it's #9
Check the ground as well.

My 68 has no running lights when the headlights are on, no issue?
I do have a side marker which you don't have, but that's separate.

Yep, when the head lights are turned on the parking lights turn off.
