69 black mach 1

I have a 69 Mach 1 that I am building. I replaced the doors with new shells from MU and adding power windows which requires that I change the glass to 70 bolt in glass. When I assembled the door I found the top mounting position for the glass guides seems to be too close to the glass opening and the only adjustment is at the bottom of the guides. The guide mounted to the glass side of the door shell and cant go behind the mounting position. Any ideas??
