Where should my fuel filter be?

Default Where should my fuel filter be?

I dont have a fuel filter. Where should it be and where could i put it?

Just install a inline filter by the carb.

Okie dokie. Im gonna do all the tune up stuff like spark plugs and filters after i buy my new carb. Hey do you have a four day weekend this weekend Charles? I do for whatever reason/

I have a 3 day weekend. Your off Tuesday too? Do you still have the stock points in your distributor?

Yeah, i was going to tell you to go that way. I'd get the pertronix 2, with the flame thrower 2 coil. Thats what i have, and i guess theres a little difference.

I put a MSD system in my car... cost a few bucks more, but its what some drag racers recomended.

I did the MSD also and my fuel filter is in the line up be my carb. Good luck.

you guys know there is a filter built into the pump right? (if its a stock pump) ... be sure to NOT overlook that bad boy in your tune up.

Actually, I think the only fuel pump that had a filter was the one for 390's, or all FE engines for that matter, but i could be wrong.
