Best Carburetor 289 4 bbl ?

Depends on the engine and use.
QFT with annular boosters or the newer Holley stuff (overpriced imo) with annulars is better then the older Autolite 4100 because of technological advances etc, but the 4100s are still great carbs that work well on mild engines.
What carb works best really depends on the engine. A mile street 289 that never goes past 5,500rpm needs a totally different carb than a 9,000rpm solid roller 427 drag engine.

Other intakes with thicker sidewalls at the flange mount work better.

So that will be better if i try to find a original 4 bbl intake or i can put a spacer from cj pony parts (Carburetor To Intake Manifold Spacer 1" 289/302/351W 4V 1965-1969) and that will work fine ?

I was told by qft tech that a downleg booster would be better suited for a medium-high performance 289 vs the annular booster.
This was the carb he recommended....I may try one out someday soon...they look fun

Install a gasket, then this, then another gasket, then the stock style PCV spacer.

You can always use the Weiand stealth, it has a thicker sidewall at the mating surface and can fit more carbs.
