I finally got to the timing. It was Advanced about 4 degrees. Reset and the car is running perfect. No more overheating. Not sure if that was truly the problem or if the air finally burped out from all the idle time I gave it. Anyway the car runs like a dream and I couldn't have done it without all your help. Thanks a bunch!!
