Suspension question
#24
Not my GT350, I wish...I was just a SAAC and watched it get judged.
Anyway, I find this thread confusing because from the one photo you have posted your car is indeed taller than mine. This leads me to think that you are concerned because the tire is too close to the fender lip, this could be caused from alignment shims or, more than likely, a disk brake swap of questionable components (Scarebird etc..).

It's a CSRP Granada swap kit. I haven't had it aligned, so that may be a problem, but these are stock springs and there is only 3/4" from tire to lip. I had a '65 as my first car and I can guarantee you it sat way higher in the front.
I know the caster is off as it doesn't return to center the way it should. The toe in is 1/8" so that should be right. I don't know what the camber is, and maybe (probably) should be adjusted. When I assembled the suspension I just put all the shims back in and tried to make them equal at all 4 points.
I'll try to get it aligned soon, but first I have to drastically reduce the jet size, I'm running a 600 Holley on a 302. I'm guessing I need a few sizes smaller jets. Anyone in Houston good with determining the proper jet size?
