Default Steering question

Original power steering car. Last owner pulled the pump and everything else underneath out. It's very difficult to steer. What can I do besides add PS back in? Change steering box? Idler arm?

Thanks!

Wish I had 850 to burn, I wouldn't spend it on PS.

Steering box is different for Power vs Manual. Power needs less turns wheel to wheel. Can't remember how many tuns - I think 4 for PS. But in any case if PO did not change out steering box it would be a lot harder to turn. You can change the box out and put a roller idler by Opentracker (heard that helps a lot) or switch all back to PS (more expensive). For steering box contact Chockostang used them alot. Very good customer service.
