'87 roller 5.0 into '66 289 Mustang Parts needed?
I'm swapping a 302 from an '87 mustang into my '66 mustang for the time being. I know that I need a new flywheel and harmonic balancer for 50oz in balance. Is there a 50oz harmonic balancer that will bolt to the 302 and allow me to use my 3-bolt v-belt crank pulley? Any other parts I will need to buy to make the 302 work?
By the way, I'm only using a 302 long block, all of my carb stuff, and old accessory stuff will be staying.
I hope I'm not asking too much but a link to the correct harmonic balancer that I need would be greatly appreciated.

A wrench....
The things that get you are possibly a provision for a mech fuel pump (depending on year) and there's no provision for the z-bar style clutch linkage.
Just get the right flywheel/balancer for it, you can get balancers in 3 or 4 bolt style. I like Romac for a lower cost SFI balancer, good piece (only other I'd use is ATI).

you could keep the serpentine setup if you dont mind the look then youll have an a better belt system with lower maintenance etc...
any of the parts places will carry the balancer(with 3 hole 50 oz balance) and flexplate you need.
you will need to do something for the distributor the 5.0 uses a roller cam so you will need to swap the gear on your stock unit or you can run something like the distributor from a 1985 5.0 that came with the roller cam but was setup for a carb youll also need the box to control it.
