Emissions on a 68
So i have a interesting one...I am trying to pass emissions here in Denver and I failed the CO2 test. The technician said to set idle speed down. I am going to re-test in the next day or so and i was wondering if there are any other things i should look at to lower the CO2? I have the 200 I-6. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! thanks in advance!

RE: Emissions on a 68
a 68 requires smog testing???? I thought anything older than 72 these days don't require it. C02 levels can also be lowered by changing your oil. A byproduct of burning oil or old oil is CO2. Change the filter, change the oil, maybe even go with a sythetic blend. Also check your PCV system and make sure you're not sucking oil into the intake. Also, check your plugs for fouling. If you haven't done the plugs in 20K plus, that wouldn't hurt either.
