1970, 302 v8 coupe . hey the other day i was driving my car and all of a suden i was at a stop light and noticed that the oil pressure and temperature were both going up i mean the oil pressure was nice and high before but it went way past the high marker at the stop and when im moving i see the pressure go down and the temp go down again. it only does this at stops and has been doing this for about 2 days now, even on the highway the oil pressure and temperature stay low what could be the problem? thx.

I know that your temp will go up at idle because less air is getting under the hood and the fan wont do much.

YOu might have a short somewhere, or something. Or the voltage regulator on the cluster going out.
