Default Radiator Support Weatherstrip

My 66 convertible was missing the rubber weather stripping that mounts on top of the radiator support when I got it. I bought one and it came with small staples. How do I mount this thing using these small staples thru the steel radiator support. I guess I could drill holes and use small bolts unless some of you have a better idea. Thanks

Default staples

If you look at the support you can probably see were the staples were. I pushed the rubber on the support and used a scribe or nail and pushed it up from the bottom thru the rubber on top. Then you can push the staple thru. Then push down on top of staple and fold the bottom of staple over. I never attached the bottom of the seal and this seems to be working fine. This can be a bit difficult. good luck
