Put a set of Outlaw Flowmasters on My Fastback
I have a 1966 Fastback with a 331 Stroker Motor-Solid cam-aluminum Heads. i took my Flowmaster 40"s off looking for something more aggressive. I put a set of Outlaw Flowmaster 11" mufflers on and the Idle is great but once your giving it the gas peddle(5 spd with 3.80 gears) its just Nasty loud. Basically Straight header loud. I already ordered a new set of Flowmaster Super 10's which are going on as soon as they arrive. I had a feeling about it but i didn't go with my gut. just some info for anyone thinking about it.

Iskwezm, wondering if you can help me... I saw the pic's of your car and I'm doing a single turbo and C4 3600 stall tranny in my fastback. My turbo guy wanted to know where you got the headers.. Sorry to jump on this thread and ask for help. I can be contacted at bkrietemeyer@yahoo.com

just curious, why are you running a 3600 stall?.
that's a drag strip converter for a high horse car.

Well power should be in the 650hp range and 3600 stall with a good tranny cooler will be fine on the street. I'll let ya know in a couple of weeks if I'm hating life! But really it should be fine. Turbo will probably be 75mm and methanol injection. I have fairly high compression and will need to sneak up on the tune. But turbo is not going to happen until August.
