I had a problem with my intake manifold so Edelbrock ssaid they would replace it. Can anyone tell me what their personal preference is Black or Satin. I have until tommorow to decide if I want to switch to the black one. Please tell me which you would chose!

What color are your valve covers? I think the black would go great with a set of black crinkle/brushed aluminum valve covers. Otherwise, standard cast finish.

I have a set of Cobra Black valve covers with finned aluminum that I was planning on putting on but for now I have a cheap set of chromes. Will definitely be switching to the Black ones though! So I think I want the black intake manifold++!

BUMP. Anymore opinions? Black or Satin pictures above. I have cobra black finned valve covers waiting to be put on if I go with black.

Black always looks nice. Also won't show how dirty it is as much.

I bought a used satin one and painted it black, I just wanted a some contrast between the air cleaner/carb and the valve covers.

I thought that with the aluminum heads, valve covers and intake that it was too much aluminum color so I broke it up by painting it blue.

I ground the Edlebrock script off of my intake and painted it FoMoCo blue then I snagged a set of early 80's Motorsport valve covers ftw.
