Default double roller and oil slinger

OK, picking up engine parts while the coupe is in paint. A check of the bearing clearances shows this '68 306 was very recently rebuilt. Ordered the Canton pan and pump, and was looking at a double roller timing chain. Noticed I need to use the 2-piece eccentric to clear the cover, but no details regarding the needed mod to the oil slinger, Can anyone give those details please?

Never used an oil slinger. Not really needed anyway, oil pours down onto the chain from the valley drain and the chain does a really good job of slinging all on it's own.
