Lowering springs RAISED my ride height, suggestions?
I have a 1969 Fastback and I recently purchased 1'' lowering springs for the front end to have it sit a little lower than the back end. However after installing them I see that the front end now sits about a half inch higher than before. I knew this could happen as the front springs were original and were pretty worn in. I was wondering the best way to get the lowered front end look that I wanted... should I;
1. remove the springs and cut an inch of height off them
2. get the "shelby drop"
3. do something else.
Any suggestions/opinions are welcome please.

what part of California? if you're in the bay area, I can give the shelby drop Template if you need it.
also, is the spring sitting on the perches correctly? usually with aftermarket lowering springs ppl would have to cut the spring to get the desired height. also post pics.
