I talked to a friend today and he said that it wouldnt be worth 7000 with a new paint job and interior.
My reply to comments from bozos like this is:
"Oh, is that how much you bought your classic Mustang for?"

I've always been of the opinion that nobody throws mods at these cars expecting to make a profit. No one who ever loved working on their mustang or spending money on an upgrade ever said to themselves "man I'll make a killing on this when I sell it now"

We do these things because its badass and we own a piece of history...living legends. When you sit in one its not like another car certainly not a modern car you can feel it...there is some type of odd connection.

Im not sure if you have ever sat in a WWII survivor say a corsair or a mustang but you can really feel that presence...same thing with the classic cars just a bit less intense...Thats why we do what we do....not over the value.
