What do i need to pump up my 351W?

In addition to something like the Eddy top end kit, you're going to need a fuel system to support it, all sorts of connecting hardware (cuz that stock **** won't fly), internals (I wouldn't use stock rods/pistons at that power level), and all the other nut and bolt crap you run into along the way that nickels and dimes you to the tune of $2k.
And that's just for the engine. At that power level you're also going to need a brake upgrade, chassis reinforcement, better suspension, transmission and rear end work.
So now your 400hp project just went up to around $15-20k.
Your best bet is probably a mild crate engine, and spend the rest of the money on other parts of the car. Brakes, chassis reinforcement (decent subframes) and suspension, probably in that order.
You need to seriously figure out what you want before you start doing anything, because whatever it is will cost a **** ton of money in the end. You'll be thousands ahead by not short circuiting yourself and jumping the gun on XYZ.

Also, the brakes are already upgraded. suspension is factory lower than a normal Mustang since it's a Mach 1
I read somewhere online, that the FMX tranny can handle 400HP without any modifications, is this not true??

My FMX would not die, so I think it is safe.
I wasn't asking for compression ratio, but the compression readings from each cylinder.
If that can't be obtained easily, then I would second or third the vote for a crate engine.

with my 351 I had it board 30 over, flat top pistons, and rebuilt kit from summit. I got a howards cam, crane roller rockers, procomp heads, and intake with a holly carb. the procomp heads are budget priced and some guys on here will tell you there junk but I have put over 20k miles on this engine and have only changed the oil. I have a c4 that im not happy with but the car is plenty fast for the street I can burn the tires off it and can hit 70 in a heartbeat. I have about 3k with machining in her. oh and to save money I got a mechanical choke carb and have never even needed the choke to get her running

Here is your answer
Start with a good set of heads, trick flow heads to me are the best deal because of the performance you get with a relatively low price. Then a set of comp cams magnum roller rockers, a good oil pump is always choice.
You already have an intake and carb use them. Next get a good set of headers and you will have what you need for a good time.
