my mustang won't start. HELP!!!!
i have tried a bunch of thing to troubleshoot my problem but im am having a problem starting the car. its a stright 6 1967 mustang automatic. when i turn the key nothing happens not even a click. i replaced the battery, the relay, and starter. i need help!!

Step 1: make sure the brown wire is not connected to the starter relay S terminal. (the red blue wire should go to the S terminal)
Step 2: Put the car in N , turn the ign key on to start- does it crank? if no, put back into park. if yes, your neutral saftey switch (NSS) is bad or out of adjustment.
Step 3: get a 12 inch piece of 16 ga wire (or a long screwdriver or water pump pliers) and connect 1 end to the battery and the momentarily connect the other end to the starter relay S terminal - it should immediately crank. If yes, it is a problem between you ign switch and relay S terminal- potentially a bad NSS. If no, you have a low battery, bad engine to battery ground, or a frozen engine.
