I have a 68 Mustang with tilt away steering column. I already have the factory repair manual and a smaller one on the tilt away part.

But I would like a good picture breakdown of the parts that are all in the column.

Thanks. I finally found the picture in the repair manual. After looking at yours. I pulled the top apart. And come to find out I was right. And who ever put the column together left out the spring between the steering wheel and the bearing. They had cut a piece of pipe and put in there. And when the wheel was tightened down it tore up my upper bearing.
Have a replacement bearing coming and a spring from c j ponys.
Glad I checked it. Something just didn't seem right in the column
