Outstanding! It looks like you've got a great project going there. You're starting off with a car that's in a LOT better condition than mine was. That should make the conversion much easier and straight-forward. I was always trying to balance the restoration part of the project with the electric conversion part - put a lot of strain on my time and pocketbook.

I am looking at some other cells including another Koham that is a 75Ah with 15C 10 second discharge. If I only use a 2P, 96S pack, I would get 2200amps for track use and actually pick up the kWh to 53. I would be adding an extra 250 lb. I worry that the 0-60 and track times can't be met with that pack, but testing will help. The extra street range might be worth it to some buyers. Those cells would be $45K. One hope is for some new cells we are testing that might give me 3200amps and 355v with 45Kwh range in the 35K range, but they out of China and unknown to us.
I will be running the car at the San Antonio Raceway Aug. 3 and 5 using a friend's drag pack that we help me dial in the right minimum numbers.

New Rear
Now we tackle finding and installing a rear end to handle all that power, running down a strip and driving on the highway.
I selected a floating 3 link with watts from Street or Track. Shawn has been awesome to work with and the products have been top notch so far. The rear comes with 13" Wilwood brakes and we selected a Strange ford 9" HD Aluminum center section. The tallest ring and pinion I could get from Strange was a 3.0, but I found a 2.47 that was used for while in town cars. I may get a custom shop to make a 2.0 if possible. When you have 1800 lb-ft or torque at RPM 1, you don't need or want something low a 411. I need top speed gearing.

testing battery pack
We got a chance to use a battery pack for one night that comes out of Big Daddy Don Gralits Swamp Rat 37 electric rail dragster. He is 81 and tying reset his 1972 world record first ever 200 MPH run on gas, using all electric. He is currently up to 184.
Anyway the battery pack is the most powerful automotive pack ever built with over 1.5 megwatts of energy.
Here 2 of the four modules that make up the whole pack.
The total weight of the pack is 500lb and the little red **** lever you see in the trunk is the oh **** handle that disconnects the battery pack from every is pulled. Like a parachute handle. In this case it's connected it to the shift lever in the floor of the car since we didn't have a transmission anymore.

We took the Zombie222 to San Antonio and raced against 1967 Fastback with a 438CJ and then a 2011 GT500.
The 67 got embarrassed and we beat the GT500 by a full second.

Very cool project. Advice take it or leave it: I have read bad things about those aluminum center sections causing premature gear wear/failure in high power applications...I would say you qualify as that and then some...something to read about

No overdue update on the Zombie 222
Wow, A lot to talk about. The Zombie 222 has continued to progress nicely and set a record or two.
First, I bought my own battery pack. Now I no longer have to mooch batteries to test the car and improve it. I am using Lithium Polymer Prismatic pouch ultra high power cells. 960 of them. Here are some pics.
