My son and I are restoring a 1965 mustang that has the old V-6 200 cubic-inch engine in it. It is pretty obvious that somebody in the past stuck an air breather/filter on the engine from some other car. Looks pretty shabby.

Please recommend a good source for a chromed air breather unit that would fit the old V-6 200 cubic-inch mustang engine and would look decent. Note this will not be a show car but we do want it to look decent.

The stock unit was not chrome, unless you had a Sprint. It'd be cool to have that air cleaner. I'd just put the stock one on it, if you can't find one.

You can get a chrome air cleaner assembly for 6-cyl Mustangs (link). There was one of these on my 6-cyl. Mustang when I bought it, but I ultimately went back to the stock air cleaner.
