Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can provide a link to a thread in how to remove the rear license plate in a 1966 mustang. Seems like there is a nut behind the license plate thats preventing me from removing it.

I am wondering in order to remove the license plate do I have to remove the rear valence or am I missing something.

I tried searching the forums but I keep finding threads about light bulbs or the front license plate.

you can get behind the plate at the bottom with a wrench or pliers.
